2. Photos and Hand Analysis (Core Functionality) To provide our core service (AI-powered nail styling and color visualization), we require access to your device's camera and photo library.

• Collection & Processing: When you select or take a 2D photo of your hand, the image is securely transmitted via encrypted channels (SSL/TLS) to our trusted third-party cloud AI service providers (Fal.ai for image generation and Google Cloud Vertex AI for skin undertone and hand shape analysis) strictly for the purpose of applying the requested nail edits or providing style recommendations. We do not collect biometric data, TrueDepth data, or use any physiological tracking technologies.
• Temporary Retention: Your photos and the generated results are temporarily cached on our third-party AI provider's secure servers solely to facilitate the generation and downloading process. These files are automatically deleted within a short period (up to 7 days) and are never used to train any machine learning models. We do not maintain our own database of your photos.
• Local Storage: All generated images and your edit history are saved only locally on your device. If you delete the app, your history will be permanently lost unless manually saved to your camera roll.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or photos. We share data only with essential service providers:

• Third-Party AI Service: As mentioned above, 2D images are sent to our cloud AI partners solely to analyze hand profiles and generate the edited images. They are bound by strict data protection agreements to not use your photos for any purpose other than fulfilling your request.

4. Security We use industry-standard encryption protocols (SSL/TLS) to transmit your photos between your device and the AI servers. Because we follow a "zero-retention" policy on our own servers, the risk of data breaches involving your personal images is effectively minimized.

5. User Responsibility By using Nail Editor, you represent that you have the legal right to use and process the photos you upload. We encourage users to only upload photos of their own hands or individuals from whom they have obtained explicit consent.
