Need help decoding your facial geometry? We are here to assist you with any questions, feedback, or technical issues you may encounter while using the Face Shape Finder app.
1. How do I get the most accurate scan results? For the most precise mathematical topography and face shape analysis, ensure your scan/photo meets these strict criteria:
2. Is my facial data safe? Absolutely. Your privacy is our highest priority. The intricate wireframe mapping (the 128 facial landmarks) and core geometric measurements are calculated locally on your device using Apple's secure Vision framework. To generate your final Aesthetic Blueprint and styling recommendations, the 2D photo is temporarily processed on our trusted cloud AI servers. Once the text report is generated, your photo and data are permanently deleted from the cloud. We do not store your face data, nor do we use it to train AI models. Your results remain solely on your personal device.
3. Are the Golden Ratio and Symmetry scores 100% scientifically absolute? No. Face Shape Finder is an advanced aesthetic and visualization tool based on classical geometric theories (like the Golden Ratio and the Rule of Fifths). While our algorithms are highly precise, human beauty is subjective and cannot be entirely defined by math. The scores and ratios provided are for entertainment, personal insight, and styling inspiration. They do not constitute medical or professional cosmetic advice.
4. How do I cancel my subscription? Face Shape Finder subscriptions are managed and billed directly by Apple. To cancel, please follow these steps: Go to your iPhone Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions, select Face Shape Finder, and tap Cancel Subscription. Note: Apple requires you to cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next billing period.
5. The AI identified my face shape differently than I expected. Why? Face shapes exist on a spectrum (e.g., you might be a blend of Oval and Heart). Our AI relies on pure geometry (width-to-length ratios, jaw angles) rather than human perception. If the result feels inaccurate, it is usually due to camera lens distortion, tilting your chin up/down, or shadows obscuring the jawline. We highly recommend re-scanning your face in a brightly lit room while holding the phone perfectly straight.
We aim to reply to all inquiries within 24-48 hours. Please provide as much detail as possible so we can assist you better.
